Delivery Information

DISPATCH & DELIVERY UPDATE

Due to high order volumes, you may experience delays of up to 3 days in your order being dispatched. Our warehouse team are working around the clock, 7 days a week to dispatch as many orders on time as possible.

We are also currently seeing delays of up to 5 working days with both DPD and Royal Mail delivery methods. 

Royal Mail: Due to strike action and increased volumes Royal Mail are seeing prolonged delays in their mailing centres. We are working closely with our local Delivery Office  and Mail Centre  to ensure that all of our parcels are collected on time, even on strike days. Please allow up to 5 working days from dispatch for your order to be delivered. 

DPD: As a result of increased volumes and weather conditions in the UK, DPD are seeing increasing delays in some areas of the country. Please allow up to 5 working days for delivery - currently their 'Next Day' service is not guaranteed.

ORDERS PLACED OVER THE WEEKEND

All orders placed after 2pm on Fridays will not be dispatched until Monday. This means if you order on Saturday or Sunday, your order will not be dispatched until Monday. Your order will still be shipped with the selected shipping method but won't be fulfilled until Monday. If you select DPD Next Working Day delivery during this time then your order will be dispatched on Monday for delivery on Tuesday.

CLICK & COLLECT ORDERS

All Click & Collect orders can be collected between the hours of 10am - 4pm Tuesday to Saturday. If orders are placed on a Saturday afternoon and not picked up by 4pm that same day they will not be available to collect until the following Tuesday.

ROYAL MAIL TRACKED48

Royal Mail Tracked48 costs just £3.99 and is available for all orders between 0kg and 800g in weight. All orders are sent using Royal Mail Tracked 48, which Royal Mail aim to deliver all parcels within 2-3 working days. This service is fully trackable, you will receive updates via SMS as well as by Email; you can also download the Royal Mail App to track your order. Any orders placed before 2pm Monday to Friday will be dispatched on the same day. Any orders placed after 2pm on Friday will be processed over the weekend but not dispatched until Monday. DPD NEXT WORKING DAY

DPD Next Working Day Delivery is available for all orders between 0kg and 30kg in weight, the price is calculated at the checkout and can vary depending on the weight of your order. All orders placed before 2pm will be dispatched on the same day, orders placed after 2pm will be dispatched on the following day. This is their premium Next Working Day service that is full trackable from start to finish - your tracking number will be attached to your order dispatch email. DPD aim to deliver all parcels on the next working days but guarantee that ALL parcels are delivered within 5 working days. DPD Next Working Day delivery is free on all orders over £50*! We also offer Saturday and Sunday delivery via DPD.

Please note that all orders dispatched on Friday with DPD Next Working Day delivery won't be delivered until Monday. For weekend delivery, please select either DPD Saturday or DPD Sunday Delivery at the checkout.

DPD SATURDAY  DELIVERY

Perfect for when those last minute weekend cravings hit! The cut-off for DPD Saturday Delivery is 4pm on Friday - you must select 'DPD Saturday Delivery' at the checkout.

ORDER DISPATCH & CUT-OFF TIMES

Any orders placed before 2pm Monday to Friday will be dispatched on the same day. We don't process any orders on Saturday and Sunday so orders placed on these days will be processed and shipped on Monday.

 DELIVERY INFORMATION

Delivery will be made to the address provided during the check-out process. Deliveries will be made between the hours of 9am and 5pm. You must ensure that your delivery address is easily accessible and that someone is available to accept and sign for the delivery (if required). If no one is available to accept and sign for the delivery, a re-delivery charge may be incurred.

FREE DELIVERY OVER £50

Free DPD Next Working Day Delivery is available to all orders over £50 in mainland United Kingdom. Please note that Free Delivery does not apply to the following areas: Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands, Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight. We are working hard to add a free delivery option for these areas but this is still in development.

RETURNS

As the items that we sell are perishable we do not accept returns. If your order is delivered to you damaged, please contact us immediately in writing by emailing hello@sosweetshop.co.uk along with photographic evidence. If your order arrives in a damaged or faulty condition, we will only offer you a refund for damaged items if you have signed for the parcel as damaged upon receipt.
